These dolls are the exact dolls which have been retired by Ty as a result of pressure from the Obamas. Please note that Sweet Sasha does not have braids and never had braids! (The Ty prototype/sample picture shows her with braids but when she was released she did not have braids!) Rumors estimate that only approximately 300 of these dolls were released by Ty and sold in stores in Washington D.C. and Chicago prior to the Presidential inauguration. Shortly thereafter, Ty agreed to retire these Ty Girlz and rename them. The tags are mint. The swing tag has never been opened and the codes are still in the original unrevealed condition.
